Use this worksheet to plan your daily meals
Start with a protein rich food in a palm size amount. Add colorful vegetables, cooked and/or raw to cover half of a 9 inch plate. Select a whole grain to fill the remaining quarter of your plate. Garnish with spices, nuts, seeds to ensure all tastes and colors are present. Serve with room temperature water, tea or warm milk. Separate fruits with time. Enjoy fruit about 10 minutes prior to meal. Since fruit tastes slightly sour or sweet, eat it first to stimulate the appetite.
